What I Like: We have proudly been covering Carnal Decay since their fruition with Promo 2016 and again last year with their debut full length You Owe You Pay. Despite cranking out new tunes every year since that first release, the band still shows no signs of slowing down with When Pushes Come To Shove. Similar to my personal favorite slammers Within Destruction, Carnal Decay have a certain undeniable charm and catchiness beneath their brutality. Songs give you exactly what you need in a deathcore release: they're heavy, memorable, and above all...fun. These 3 new tracks are no exception. They're a headbanging good time. Nothing more, nothing less.
Critiques: No risks taken, no real surprises, nothing to stand out from the hordes...other than the fact that there is something so undefineably likeable about these guys.
The Verdict: Raise a fist in the air and take on that tough guy persona; it's time to crack some skulls. When Pushes Come To Shove is just what the doctor ordered for those looking to blow off some steam and just have a good time.
