The Pitch: Italian hardcore/mathcore maniacs Zeit return with a new EP to break your brain.  This is the follow-up to our positively-recieved look at their 2015 album, The World Is Nothing.

What I Like: It's always nice to be reminded that the mathcore scene is still alive and well, perhaps even more so these days in Europe.  These riffs are like razor blades welded to a Rube Golberg machine.  As a guitar-player, this just happens to be the first place my attention goes, but the drums and sharp vocals are no less incredible.  This EP also sees the band stretching their genre influences with an excellent At The Gates cover complete with string accompaniment.

What I Don't Like: Your stupid face if you don't like this.  Also, I suppose there isn't much new going on here.

The Verdict: Once again, Converge fans rejoice and Dillinger Escape Plan mourners dry your eyes; Zeit is here to wrap you up in a tight embrace...and then wrestle you to the damn floor.
