The Pitch: New Jersey old school death metal mastered by Swedish mastermind Dan Swanö (ex-Edge of Sanity, ex-Bloodbath, Witherscape) and mixed by Damian Herring (Horrendous).

What I Like: Ripping solos, wicked hooks, dominating vocals.  Everything you could want for a release in this style is represented.  I listened to this around the same time I heard the new Vader, which helped emphasize how much better this album does a similar job.  The guitar harmonies and some of the vocal hooks (e.g. "Blood Rot") are extremely infectious.

What I Don't Like: Nothing new, same old distortion pedal, maybe a little overlong.  Minor complaints if you're just looking for some killer classic death metal.

The Verdict: Explosive old school death metal that sticks to the formula and rivals other great 2016 releases like Shed The Skin.  Getting a bit of a Carcass vibe from a few of these hooks and again, those SOLOS!

Flight's Fav's:  "Die Decay Devour," "Blood Rot," "A Host Of Worms"
