The Pitch: "Old school speed punk" out of Wisconsin from Beercity Skateboards and Records. FFO Motorhead, Inespy, Disfear
What I Like: Lemmy himself would have plenty of good things to say about Unleash Hell. The energy, driving bass, and yolo-before-yolo-was-a-thing attitude speak volumes about this band's respect for a fallen icon. In fact, "Watch You Burn" has a hook more than a little bit reminiscent of "Ace of Spaces." But if you really want to get into the raw meat and Jack Daniels of this record, "Rock And Roll Is One Hell Of A Drug" and "Live Fast Live Forever" are where you want to be. It was at this point that my morning drive to work became a drug-fueled skateboard party complete with live stage. The D-beats, rock solos, and sometimes Every Time I Die-flavored vocals are certain to get the foot tapping.
What I Don't Like: There are a few tracks that ring fairly generic, but nothing painful. They keep me coming back regardless.
The Verdict: Grab your board, take a shot, and dive down that half pipe. If you find yourself missing the Killmister, Deathwish may help fill the void. Get it 3/10, stream it early HERE.
Flight's Fav's: Rock And Roll Is One Hell Of A Drug, Live Fast Live Forever, Baptized In Fire
