To quote an old adage, "Never judge a book by its cover." And over the years, I am constantly reminded that this applies to music as well as anything else. Unjustly Labeled is the brainchild of Johan von Knorring, who states "My music is mainly about trying to express something. Expressing the fear, loneliness, abandonment, failure, and general hopelessness of fighting against yourself and your past/your very being." Deep, bruh.

How deep is the music? Um... this is the mind of a serial killer. The songs can only be described as short blasts of skullf@%kery. It's extreme progressive served extra crispy. Like Autokrater, this is another possible example of death drone.

Subtle symphonics fuse with the sounds of a euthanasia assembly line. This is Meshuggah played in reverse from dark Silent Hill. Somehow, the piano additions are just as disconcerting as the clanky chords and distant, indecipherable growls. Grotesque also has a penchant for the Godflesh take on industrial. There's a very organic use of flesh hitting bone to the rhythms. I swear I can hear the amps shaking and studio burning to the ground.
