The Pitch: Another recommendation from the alway righteous Mathcast, this is the pummeling metallic hardcore of Australia's Letterbomb A.D. FFO: Code Orange, Vein, Cabal
What I Like: Chaotic panic chords, djenty guitar tone, and brutal vocals verging on deathcore all make this self titled album a seriously no bullsh!# affair. And speaking of deathcore, I'm definitely hearing similarities to the Cabal album I've been pimping out for a while now. Whatever you call it, Letterbomb A.D. is pure destructive ordnance jammed into every orifice and exploding forever. It's an album you recommend to friends and then on your next visit find a smouldering crater where their home used to be. At just 15 minutes made up of 5 impressively consistent odes to obliteration, Letterbomb A.D. is the definition of all killer, no filler.
Critiques: No surprises, but not a single disappointment either.
The Verdict: Bring a helmet and pads for this one. It will wreck you for sure.
