Review of the new album from deathcore band Humanity's Last Breath, Välde via Unique Leader Records. Formed in 2009 in Helsingborg, the Sweden, Humanity's Last Breath hit the scene HARD in 2013 with their debut full length self titled album alongside several EP's and finally 2019's highly popular Abyssal. This was a HIGHLY requested album in the comments of my most anticipated albums of 2021 video. I'll admit that I went in this expecting a big dumb breakdown fest, and while there is definitely plenty of that, I was pleasantly surprised at some of the other technical and symphonic deathcore layers HLB have incorporated to make these songs on Valde feel like much more.
