The Pitch: Expansive, virulent sludge debut EP through Black Bow Records.  FFO Grim Van Doom, Grizzlyman, Seer

What I Like: Searing vocals and desert hooks alternatively scrape the flesh and lumber through a hazy, waterless landscape.  I'm getting parched just listening to this.  The guitars are catchy and certain to evoke some bobbing heads...before you pass out from dehydration.

What I Don't Like: It gets a little dull.  I could go for a change of pace here and there or at least something to switch things up in some way.

The Verdict: Bound to leave your dried corpse amidst the cacti and vultures.  It's a solid debut, but one that leaves me hoping for s little more next time.
