Deafheaven's Sunbather was an album that on release was extremely divisive: Some people hailed it one of the greatest albums ever released in black metal while the oldheads decried it as blasphemy. Me personally, I thought it was just ok. But with the album now hitting its 10 year anniversary, it seemed like high time to revisit this gem and see if it still holds up or has aged like milk.
