STREAM: Thrash and Groove Metal from Chile's UDK

Aug. 19, 2019

Somewhere between Lamb of God and Fear Factory, but with an extra dose of thrash, exists Chilean band UDK. Formed all the way back in 1996, the band broke up in 2008 only to reform and now this year ultimately release Burnt Cradles.  The album is about "the downward spiral human race is experimenting nowadays, adressed in 10 topics divided into 10 songs. It's not about becoming twisted during life, it's about born with evilness within, embedded in DNA. A possible solution is to metaphorically burn all cradles to avoid spreading this social cancer." Not sure I agree with that...but hell, the music rips.
