Chaos Over Cosmos is a truly epic, sci-fi themed progressive metal band based out of Kansas. While I've never been big on the traditional forms of prog metal, I have to say that The Unknown Voyage still manages to capture my attention and imagination with its deep atmosphere and catchy songwriting. "Reissued version of The Unknown Voyage is divided in five tracks which ranges from the epic cosmic metal of "Armour of the Stars (Xenogears)", a song inspired by the cult-classic Playstation RPG Xenogears, "Dance of the Silver Blade" inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski books, the ambient and melodic personal journey of "The Compass", futuristic, Blade Runner-esque "Neon Nights" and the nature-inspired instrumental song "Sky""."
