Russian post-metal band Messah was formed in 2016 by members of local bands KUTKH, Cassandra, MERV' and Truna to combine a variety of influences in our new creative output. They describe the project as a mix of sludge and ambient, with a passionate love for Moog analogue synthesizers and krautrock. This self-titled EP is a testament to their clear experience from being in other bands, as it comes off as much more mature and realized than any debut has any business being. HAunting, expansive, and often quite heavy; it's a journey worth taking. Give it a listen below.
