"Hailing from Krakow, Poland, black metal duo Poroniec is headed by WrzaaASqn and Ferment, handling all instruments and vocals together. Presenting themselves to the worldwide metal scene with a demo comprised of 4 tracks, the band starts with a horror-like intro before it gives place to their sonic assault lead by heavy guitar riffs, artillery drums and rough yet understandable vocals. And even though this is supposed to be a demonstration of what the band can do as a whole, the quality of the production is very good and clear. Poroniec's demo presents classic black metal with an avant-garde approach in the vein of Blut Aus Nord or Deathspell Omega. It's intense, direct and will leave you positively surprised!"
