The Final Step is a progressive death metal band based out of New York in the vein of groups like Edge of Sanity, Opeth and Primordial. Members include the original drummer/co-founder of Arsis, and former members of Burning Human & Withstand. Dreamy acoustic guitars, vast production, and proggy riffs all make for an impressive experience. The vocals are a great mix of deep death growls and very Mike Patton-esque clean singing.
