Finis Omnivm is a band that was a little bit difficult for me to classify. I looked at these track lengths and the album art assuming doom, but this Paris-based band is really more of a post-hardcore group that really likes to wallow in misery. Their latest album, Cercle, has a thick, depressive atmosphere that really ought to have a disclaimer attached, I listen to this and think about jumping off a building. Please don't do that (and seek help while you're at it), but I am impressed with an album that can evoke such profoundly dark emotion. Listen and download at the price of your choosing below.
