No frills, just biting cold and the eternal night. That seems to be the philosophy behing Polish black metal band Serpent Seed. Back in 2016 we covered their previous album, Debris Of Faith, and I must say that they have stepped things up since then. They've stuck to their guns when delivering only pure, 2nd wave black metal, but both the songwriting and performances seem to have been tightened up to a noticeable degree.
