Well here's an interesting one. Hideous Monstrosity is a one man self-described industrial goregrind project with some rock elements from the mind of Carcass Marcus, What makes this project unique is that all of the instruments are programmed in a manner that Marcus describes as "photo-realistic" with the goal of sounding as realistic as possible. I'll admit that had I not known this, save for a few of the blastbeats I would have assumed that these were live performances.
