Thirst Planet is an Israeli stoner doom metal band "with a distinct worship of the riff." Fitting to the album cover, The Essence sounds as if it is played in a massive desert expanse on some lonely planet far outside of the solar system. I'm honestly just not a big listener of the stoner genre, but even I think that the performances and production on this album are excellent.
