Madrid-based doom metal band Hipoxia have released their latest outing, Ruinae Ira, Creans Ruina eo Tempore Est: Monumentum ab Khaos II (what a mouthful) through The Way of the Hermit, "devoted to doom metal and gloomy atmospheres." This new album consists of three tracks, largley "long and monolothic" 20+ minute treks filled with echoing drums and somber atmospheres. It is the conceptual continuation of SDEOE: Monumentum ab Khaos II, made up from doom, black, sludge, drone, gothic rock, and ambient presided by a "nihilist and antireligious perspective."
