"Formed in 2014, Korpsesoturi is a one-man death metal band located in Kouvola (Finland) who burst onto the scene in 2017 with demo tracks that eventually made their way onto a limited cassette via Caco-Daemon Records and CD via Death In Pieces Records. Initial recordings were downright primitive and noxious, an ode to early ‘90s brutality while capturing the classic Finnish sound in all its colossal ugliness and filth. With their first full length, Malus Corpus, Korpsesoturi has polished things up a bit, but still deliver a massive slab of barbaric death metal, lurching and writhing in spastic convulsions as it alternates between frenzied high-speed pummel and some seriously foul and fearsome downtuned riffage, along with vocals that roar from impossible depths."
