Always happy to share a band from my old stomping grounds. Flesh of the Stars is a doom metal band based out of Chicago. They're new album, Mercy, is a prog-doom concept album influenced by the likes of Elder, Warning, and Pallbearer. It's a very mood-driven and dynamic album, one that makes me toss in a Dreadnought comparison for good measure. Give it a listen below.
