Ashlands is a newly formed blackened folk metal duo hailing from Central Italy. The band reports inspirations from the likes of Summoning, Caladan Brood, and RÛR, while also trying to combine a broader range of musical influences such as Moonsorrow, Enslaved, Agalloch, etc. with a "grim, epic, lord-of-the-rings-gone-awry kind of a storyline."
