Name Your Price Stream: Stabbed

Feb. 10, 2016

Stabbed are a post-metal group out of Budapest, Hungary.  In addition to the creepy cover, this band also makes some pretty off-putting music.  The mixture of lingering post with crunchy death metal has an air of discomfort and perhaps even a nightmarish quality.  Compositions also utilize elements of sludge (the band goes so far as to call it "post-sludge") and progressive to keep things moving in strange and interesting ways.  Primary influences include Katatonia, Mastodon, and The Ocean.

You can check out Submerge for yourself below and even pick it up at the price of your choosing.  The quality here, from the production to the interesting choices in songwriting, would be well worth a regular pricing.  So nab this album before they get snatched up by a label.  How can you go wrong?
