If I had the time, this is definitely worth a full review despite being only two songs. I'm just overloaded with content at the moment. That out of the way, you should definitely check out this new split between Russia's experimental ambient/hardcore/black metal project Offret and LA darkwave band Black Mare. We've briefly covered Offret previously for the self titled EP, which I compared to Converge's more sombre, distortionless moments. This track takes things in an even more atmospheric, industiral direction and incorporates new instruments. Black Mare has also been making the rounds, and her side is equally haunting with its reverb-ridden production, minimalist composition, and Sera Timms' siren song of a voice. Listen below.
