Wherever you might land on this fence, I am a longtime Deftones fanboy. I've owned every album back to Adrenaline, and while there have been a few missteps (namely the majority of the self-titled album), I will always come back for more. It has been noted by a number of reviewers that the band seems to go through cycles between heavier albums and loftier post metal. Some may disagree, but I considered Koi No Yokan to be their heaviest (and my favorite) album overall since White Pony, so to me it seems appropriate that this new track below falls more into the chill category.
