The Pitch: New deathcore from Ukraine.  "An existential ode for the human being who is facing the unthinkable pain before and after death."

What I Like:  As far as traditional deathcore goes, this ain't half bad.  It's got some of those slow, heavy beatdown moments that make you grit your teeth and mime slow-mo slam dancing.  So it's got that going for it...which is nice.  None of the songs made me cringe and overall I had a good time.  I also like the genuine feel and dark aesthetic these guys put across.

What I Don't Like: Despite adding "blackened" to the genre label, this still feels relatively generic.  It's better than the most recent major-label deathcore releases, but doesn't do much to stand out from Whitechapel's most praised material.

The Verdict: Circles is a solid option for those hardened deathcore fans out there looking for more of the classic sound.  However, if you are looking for something a little more accomplished, I suggest you also check out Azgard or Within Destruction.

Flight's Fav's: "Out Of Time," "Delirium," "Fame Will Fade"
