The Obscene Rite will drop from Pennsylvania avant-garde death metal band Veilburner just next week. The album is extreme, harsh, and highly technical; and this song, "Eucharist Of The Breathing Abyss," happens to capture all of those elements perfectly. It's now wonder why it's one of my favorite songs on the record. Check out the review next week to see why I call The Obscene Rite one of the weirdest and most surprising albums of the year.
