Formed in 2016 in Milan, progressive metal band Quasi-Stellar Radio Source are the product of a melting pot of musical influences. They produced Two EPs and an additional single that will be release in the near future along with 2 short movies produced in collaboration with NOISE FILM FACTORY. I'd describe their sound as occupying similar territory as Good Tiger and the softer side of Textures, with vocals that are an amalgamation of Coheed, Glassjaw, and The Mars Volta. While the sound is still a little rough around the edges and hasn't fully blossomed in my opinion, there is a lot to work with here. The djenty riffs, classy piano, moody bass, and emotive singing all serve to sell an intriguing atmosphere. Give the latest EP a listen below, particularly "Rise Again."
