I've never been much of a Cradle of Filth fan, in fact I haven't really enjoyed an album of theirs since Dusk and Her Embrace Furthermore, I thought that Hammer of the Witches was mostly garbage. All of that to set up why it's noteworthy that I am excited for Cryptoriana. I enjoyed the previous music video teasing the album, but Cradle may have outdone themselves with the new track, "You Will Know The Lion By His Claw," a sprawling 7+ minute opus that I would count among the best the band has ever released.
