The Pitch: Canada-based black/thrash/grind project Kratornas cranks out the sacrilege and chaos like Absu on speed.
What I Like: The solos are madness on this record, as are most of the riffs. This is certainly one of the fastest extreme metal records of the year. I also dig the staccato vocals.
What I Don't Like: Things can get a little too chaotic and berating at times.
The Verdict: If you're looking for some brain-melting blackened thrash and grind to scare off most of your loved ones, look no further. While it could use a little more care in the songwriting department, it manages to rival the most extreme albums of the year.
