Polish band Saltus recently released an album of "Slavonic Pagan Metal" titled Jam jest Samon!. This translates to "I am Samon!," who as far as I can figure was a merchant who became theruler of the first written Slavonic state. If you like blackened metal with some viking-sounding overtones and symphonic elements a la Nokturnal Mortum or Moonsorrow, you should check these guys out.
