Mors Principium Est have been a bit of an underdog in the melodeath scene. Not as popular as their Finnish brethren Insomnium and Ensiferum, but releasing albums that at times rival material from the likes of In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. Their epic key and symphonic additions have been a huge draw for me, as are the endlessly entertaining riffs. Now the band is gearing up for their follow-up to the overall solid 2014 effor, Dawn of the Fifth Era. The new album is called Embers of a Dying World and it is slated to release this coming January. You can hear previews from the album below. Sounds like the symphonic parts are going to be even bigger this time around. Here's hoping.
