Hopefully you caught our previous reviews of this excellent project, because The Ritual Aura is definitely a name you should know in progressive and technical death metal. This Australian up-and-comer nailed a spot on my end of year list in 2015 with Laniakea and then quickly followed it up with the quirkier, trippier Taether. This new track, "Keening III: Dreamer's End" finds The Ritual Aura continuing to grow in proficiency and songwriting skills while also adding some strings to the mix.
