Ruinen (Ruins) is the upcoming album from WALDGEFLÜSTER, a melodic black metal band from Germand. The band's union of blackened aesthetic with atmospheric folk metal has drawn comparisons to Falls of Rauros and Panopticon (with whom they did a split release). Other namedrops include Anathemaand Katatonia. I have heard the album in it's entirety and can safely say that this is one of the most cathartic pieces of pure melachnoly I have heard this year.
