Italian drone project Chelidon Frame returns with a new EP. Following up the album Imago, this new work (null) point ex_ is a continuation of focus on "field recorndings, ambient textures and synthetized sounds." I still consider myself a complete novice when it comes to drone, but I know there is an entire community that eats this stuff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Being a fan of atmosphere-obsessed directors like David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick, I can appreciate the importance of this kind of experimentation.
